I don’t remember her being there… I’ll check my photos
…Nope she didn’t make it on the day.

Digging out my 20 year old 3822 (yes, I’ve still got it!) it turns out I flew twice in WK630. The first time was my second flight on 20/10/91 and the second time was my 9th Chipmunk flight on 24/9/95 both flights from Hurn with 2AEF.

Was WP840/9 G-BXDM there in her old red and white RAF scheme?

I spent a brilliant day out today with my wife at Blenheim Palace, thanks alot Mum for looking after Jack while we were out. I know he is never any trouble but thanks anyway! 😀

RAF Chinook heading north past Oxford at 1630.
On the back of a low loader so no ‘wokka wokka’ 🙁
At 10.45 today two pairs of F15’s flew low (@2000ft) past Boscombe Down heading in a westerly direction.
Any idea what, where from and why over Boscombe?
Is there a Chipmunk operating out of Boscombe Down? I was walking around the perimetre fence earlier and saw what looked like a tail dragger taxiing wearing the old red and white RAF colour scheme. Unfortunately is was difficult to positively identify as was 3/4 mile away!
Pete, I have never been interested in football, and was just “Flicking” through the TV progs as he scored, and I heard thats what he earned, needless to say, I watched a film. Now you know why I nearly got cremated by G.A. the other day, as regards your remark about him being a Brit.;)
Jim.Lincoln .7
:diablo:
Isn’t earned a strong word for someone who keeps fit (as many people do anyway) and plays football (as many do in parks throughout Britain) for less time a week than full time work?

Likewise, although I live only a few metres 😀
Did the Buchon ever have cannons fitted in to the prop spinners as the Me-109 did?
2 pictures taken of Voyager sat just off runway 17/35 yesterday, must have been having various systems checks and evaluations as was silent for about an hour.
You might just be able to make aircraft out in centre of picture, I don’t have a zoom on my camera and if you try and take photo from fence you’ll very quickly have company!
Yesterday when I was walking around perimeter fence I saw 1 Voyager off runway 17/35 but there was also one on apron near weighbridge hangar. Do they now have 2 at Boscombe Down or was this only a visitor?
