    i would think alot of these programmes have very little repeat fees.

    TV presenters who foul up and get shown on “TV’s Naughtiest Blunders” and such like get £250 EVERY time its shown … No justice, eh? 😀

    Hands down that is one of the uglisest aircraft I have ever seen, still it’s a shame no one has stepped up and done something with it. Heck, even ugly planes need love too!

    I think the Bristol Freighter is so ugly it’s beautiful. One of my all-time favourites! Genuinely interesting set of pictures in this thread. Some real “gems”.

    Its a miracle she’s lasted as long as she has! The vandals have done their best (worst?) but it’s still unmistakeably a Lightning!

    The scrapman’s blowtorch is far more likely prospect. It Lightnings were ultra-rare, then I’m sure someone would step in, but just look at it… 🙁

    Rumour has it (certainly in our newsroom), that Camilla’s very ill – hence the short “engagement”. Good on Charles, clearly he loves the woman. Good luck to the pair of ’em.

    Right at the end of the film. B-17 has equipment on the nose to collect a wire from a balloon attached to a liferaft containing Bond and his beau.

    Lovely shots Stewart. I think she looks fantastic in that scheme. Great to see her outdoors too. Now all we need is a flying Mossie… 🙂
