Nettles and wasps – two things that have no purpose on this earth other than to annoy and irritate. Add Linda Barker and you have an entire axis of evil.

Legally, we’re probably best to keep our thoughts to ourselves…

X-Files petered out and died about halfway through series 2.

Disagree. X-Files was credible and original up to Season Six, then it rather vanished up its own arse and got too tangled up in the conspiracy theories.

What a mess. Sadly I have no sympathy for Mr Ollerenshaw. A simple look at the airframe up close before clicking “bid” would have solved an awful lot of bother, and saved him an awful lot of money.

And is “Mr Ollerenshaw” the most Northern name ever? 😀

Do we know who the “second” bidder was? The cynic in me has an idea…

Never been able to get into Star Trek. I can see the appeal of the early Spock and Kirk stuff, but I lose the will to live when it gets to Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise etc… Never has a dead horse been flogged quite so much, and never with such shockingly bad special effects…

The X-Files is a far more intelligent watch (prepares for incoming barrage).. 😀

When I was about 5 or 6 I swear I saw a “ghost” airship, similar to the Hindenburg or R101 breaking through cloud on a grey day in the West Midlands. Would have been about 1983/4ish. To this day I’m convinced I know what I saw!

Jolly memories of nipping out on my bike and lifting a few while the farmer wasn’t looking.

Blimey – parking meter theft, spud rustling… Is this the Key Criminal Forum! 😉 😀 😀

Interesting project – any idea of the timescale they’re looking at?

The chili con carne, Danohagan, sounds awful

Jacket spud – oven cooked, NEVER microwaved, baked until the skin is black, and the inside is nice and fluffy. Filling – red hot chilli con carne. Delicious. There’s nothing better!

Heard this on t’wireless for the first time yesterday, and must say its a cracking tune. Obviously not as good as the Steve Miller Band original, but fully deserving of a high position in the “hit parade”.

Cinema tonight – “Meet the Fockers”
Lie in tomorrow – take the missus out for a bite to eat in the evening
Sunday, weather permitting, a nice scenic walk somewhere coastal.
