    RE: Be Happy!!!!!!!!!

I might get a weekend in Palm Springs some time this spring. Later this summer I hope to get to London/Wales to visit relatives. This coming November, there are rumblings about Costa Rica.

If I am really lucky, me and my main squeeze will get a week’s cruise on the Windstar through the Panama Canal later in the year.

RE: What Do You Eat And Drink At Airshows?

My favorite airshow is the Pt. Magu Naval Air Station Open House which is free entrance to the public. I try to eat and drink as much from the local vendors on the grounds as these are major fund raisers for charitable causes.

The SeaBees Family Support Italian Sausage sandwiches with grilled onions and peppers is definately the best.

I am sorry to see one of our local (I live near Camarillo) historic A/C leave the area, but it is good that she will be gainfully employed in Europe.

This is called Persistence of Vision. It is the same principle that allows us to see movies as a continuous picture rather than the flickering images that they really are.

RE: A small quiz for the guitar men of our forums!

1: Which guitarist made famous the technique of tapping?

2: which song when first rcorded used 8 guitarists?
If Layla is the answer then who had the lead on that song… wrong, not Eric Clapton. It was Duane Alman on pedal steel guitar.

3: Who is considered the fastest guitarist of all times?

4: how many strings does the worlds most stringed guitar has?

5: Who is Ozzy Osbournes current guitarist?

6: Which is the worlds longest song?
Inagadavida by Iron Butterfly (only real hippies like me know that song).

7: which guitarist gave the theme to te movie Godfather?
The music for the Godfather was written by Francis Ford Coppala’s father Carmine who was a famous conductor. Francis got his middle name because he was born in Detroit while his father was conducting the Detroit Symphony and the hospital he was born in was endowded by the Ford family.

    8: What are pentagonic scales?
    A five note octive progression

    RE: The movie quote game!

    “Fly casual.”
Return of the Jedi… Han Solo to Chewbaca

“I’m glad to see that drinking is not a problem.”
The Great Waldo Pepper… Character talking about an obviously drunk Robert Redford.

    “Who are those guys?”
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid… Butch refering to the posse chasing them.

    “Don’t touch it! Its evil!”
Time Bandits… The final line in the movie.
