It isn’t massively witty though is it… using my own comment back at me. Not the sort of thing one might expect of an “original thinker”.
Jim,
Sometimes I wish it was a ‘destruct’ button !
Promises, promises.
Any time you want to justify bringing immigration into the discussion, Lincoln_7, feel free. I’m sure we’re all waiting to find out what your contribution is.

Another valuable contribution and judging by charliehunt’s post count, what is it they say about empty vessels?

Oh dear. Not again.
Ignore list not working or was it just an idle threat (or promise)?
Instead of simply hurling abuse around as you know where that gets you, why not try arguing your points? You know like in a discussion forum? Maybe?…….

I think that the time has come for me to apply for membership of Charlie’s ‘ignore’ list.
You’re just trying to cheer us all up now aren’t you.
Great idea for a discussion forum though. An “ignore list”. So you can choose to ignore those who run rings around your arguments. Brilliant.
Ignore lists for closed minds. That would make a good signature actually…..

Unemployment benefit accounts for 3% of the welfare budget. Almost half of the welfare budget is on the state pension. I take that everyone is happy with reforms for all benefit recipients or just those that are being stigmatized by our government?
A large percentage of benefits is paid to those already in work in order to give them a living wage – something employers seem reluctant to do and the government seems reluctant to tackle.

Bruggen – the more you resort to childish personal abuse the more you show the weakness of your argument and your inability to debate it.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black…
Keep it up Bruggen 130, with any luck you’ll end on charliehunt’s ignore list, like others who get the better of him in a debate. You’ll know you’ve won the argument then.:)
The ignorance shown on this thread is staggering, centuries of discovery, fine-tuning of theories and laws dismissed as ” no-one knows” No, we don’t know everything but we know an awful lot more than we used to.
And I am incredulous that anybody could suggest that ‘less reading’ is the way to find out about the universe we live in!
Absolutley. A staggering comment, but in some ways hardly surprising.
