Yes, as you say, I can read and we know all that. The fact remains that if Mitchell had remained polite and refrained from using abusive language in the first place none of this would have happened. That isn’t a crystal ball, just common sense.
Re 8
Where can I get a crystal ball like yours ?
No crystal ball. Just the ability to read. It seems pretty obvious that if Mitchell had done as he was asked without resorting to abuse then whole affair would not have happened. Seems pretty obvious to everyone – except you of course.

Thanks for the comments folks. They are appreciated.
This morning’s sunrise was stunning. The rising sun was shining on a large CB over N. Wales making it orange all over, with a reddish rainbow coming from it.
Also two kestrels in a formation hover not 20ft from where I was standing.

Clearly my sense of humour must be rather more refined than laughing at anti-EU lies about toilets.
I don’t think I was the only one that missed the humour content in the original post. It was well-disguised though.
Surprised at the use of the word “cabal” though. Latin origin isn’t it?

Not even you can make something out of nothing. May I enquire, are you by chance some kind of EU official with a special interest in effluent disposal ? If so, many of us think that you supremely suited to the job..
Ah yes. Using my joke back at me. Very original.
For your future guidance: it is bad form to use a foreign language quote when writing English. Many regard it as pretentious.
Irony isn’t your strongpoint is it.
Let’s face it. You’ve been rumbled (again) posting nonsense in order to have go at the EU. It’s also no great surprise that the usual suspects join in with their support without bothering to check first.

In keeping with the usual standard from the thread starter, this isn’t strictly correct (quelle surprise). What the EU have done is define a standard that allows manufacturers to claim that their flush is eco-friendly – much the same as washing machines and dishwashers.
A Google search reveals the 6 litre maximum was introduced in 2001 in the UK (not EU, UK) as part of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 act.
All in all, a singularly appropriate thread from this OP.

Try driving from England to Aberdeen, ok until you get to Gateshead it’s not bad. But on the Newcastle A1 bypass after the angel of the north it’s a nightmare, up to Edinburgh takes hours due to a single track road with some dual track bits, after Edinburgh it reverts back to mostlly single track roads again.
I have to say that I haven’t gone up the East coast for a while. We go up the M6/M74. Edinburgh to Aberdeen is dual carriageway or motorway. All the way.
