I notice that the RAF Museum is taking another slating and I think you are quite right that it is mismanaged.
Perhaps the reason it is so far behind the likes of the Smithsoniam is funding. There are plenty of people on this forum who are quick to knock establishments like the RAF Museum yet I bet seldom offer their time up to volunteer to help.
The bottom line is in this country the government under funds everything and you get what you pay for.
Looks like poor MOD management wating my taxes again.
The vintage glider club produced a CD with all the ATC T.21 AP’s scanned in PDF format on it.
Have you any photos to post of your 21 as you found it?
Rgds from a fellow T.21 owner
I read a post on another forum today where the director of the firm which moved the VC10 to Cosford said that it was not going to be scrapped and knowing the individual I am confident that it will live on!
It was when I went in May 15. It looked closed when I drove past but on reaching the gate on foot I found it open.
Is there any chance you could upload a photo of any of these parts showing the numbers?
You could try Richard Cawsey at Cotswold G C, Aston Down as he is an expert on the individual histories of UK gliders.
What is the identity of your EON?
The EON Primary on display at the Museum of Berkshire aviation is mounted on an original EON tripod which is considerably different to the tripod used with the Slingsby Grasshopper.
I hope the one in the special paint scheme comes to RIAT.

Sorry I could not get the photo to attach to the original post.
I think the unit moved to Boscombe Down.
Here is a recent photo of ZA656. Does anybody have a photo of it when it was in RAF service? Surely somebody who visits this forum must?
The Sea Balliol is back on display or it was last week when I visited. Personally I think it should be at Yeovilton as I can’t see its relevance other than BP was a midlands based company.
