The ticket that is attached shows that the part still has around 300hrs left before a check/service is required however this ticket dates back to the late 80’s so would need to be fully recertified again if it was to be used in an airworthy aircraft. I thought it would be worth asking on here anyway…. Cheers guys!
I wonder what will happen with Delta’s flagship Hunter T.7 that is in the Black Arrows colours..?
He could have been sent to any one of a number of airfields in the UK. Do you not have any log books etc etc?
Out of interest… Where did he undertake his gunner training?
Recce Bucc
It was indeed used in the recce role and each squadron would have had two or more on the squadron if memory serves me right!
Replying to the Bucc picture. The interesting configuration is in fact a camera pack that replaces the bombs. I think the 1993 display aircraft was set up with this.

Where was the line up of JP’s on the grass?
[QUOTE=The”Eh”Team;1529882]Looking through some slides my attention was caught by some of my images which mainly depicted sights that we would never see again and that some of the aircraft had disappeared so quickly just as I was getting to grips with my new found hobby of photography.
Hope you like some of my little gems which came courtesy of some flights arranged by some kind gentlemen in the RAFs Pr section.Although it never happened on a regular basis getting these flights they are memories I treasure as each time it was a day packed with anticipation, excitement and on the drive back home from the sites involved my replay of the events in the air seemed to liven up a boring drive, probably to the annoyance of the other motorists wondering what I had to smile about with a grin ear to ear stuck in a five mile jam.Ha,Ha.:D[QUOTE]
Sexy Hunter
The first picture has just become my new desktop background!!!
I used to like seeing G-PSST fly at the Elvington Airshow…
Does anyone know what shows she will be at this year in the UK?
Defo an Etentard IV!! 🙂
Great shots all round!!!
Looks as though the back end of the Turkish F5 has just about touched terra firma on landing…
You certainly don’t get airshows like that anymore. I really like the atmospheric shot of Concord overflying the bus on a derelict part of the airfield!
Hers a few from Leicester 1984
I remember a minuets silence was held and everyone stood for the Varsity
Sadly missed, Robin Bowes owned Fokker Dr-1 Triplane replica G-BEFR 425/17 built by Westward Airways 1976 and destroyed in fatal display accident at Stourhead Gardens, Mere, Wiltshire 20th July 1995
USAF Lockheed C-5A Galaxy 70-0445
British Airways Aérospatiale BAC Concorde G-BOAC now preserved at Manchester Airport
RAF Hawker Siddley Harrier GR3, possibly XV760 K 3 Squadron RAF Gutersloh, if so cockpit still exsists in Sussex/Surrey
Nar, Bremen…lol
How about some of the new exhibits like the Kinloss Nimrod gate-guard etc..
Fun in the Snow!
As the snow has really hit England hard this year I thought I’d try and revive this thread from the end of last year! Any takers???
Merry Christmas to all from the ‘WON’ project!!
