ATC at Oban – Still current by all accounts…
This is what my Greek to English tool translates to:
conflict in the air two aircraft in the famous British ακροβατικού flock red arrows and successful abandonment of the operator of a we had just now during flight εκπαιδευτίκής their Casteli! The flock μεταστάθμευσε in 133 σμηναρχία battle on 22/03 UNTIL 31/03. The red arrows will were volatile educational program during their stay. Overall had go 10 aircraft in Crete. The time of the conflict were in the air 9 aircraft.
One operator which went to abandonment has seriously injured, because the abandonment was at a low level above the corridor αποπροσγείωσης of the airport. The second managed and προσγείωσε the aircraft.
The operator who has injured transferred the hospital and will thereafter Irakleioy μεταφερεθί in Athens, probably in γνα. Not a risk their lives.
The accident in red arrows is unprecedented. It is perhaps the first time that happens …
There have been victims of the fall of the aircraft, as well as the aircraft security within the zone has lapsed.

Phil.
Tegucipalpa
It states that is in fact Tegucipalpa, Honduras. Don’t know if that is correct though?
Anyone know where that is, it’s nearly as scary as the old Kai Tak approach.

Hi Phil
Just dropped in after a long absence.I have left a full current update on the forum. The aircraft as has been said is sitting in HAS21 were is has been since 24th November 2009 supposedly up for sale !!!!.We all got the cold shoulder for no reason so we have given the RBL the royal salute and we now have our workshops building warbirds and Spitfires real and replicas and support worthwhile charities like Help for Heroes.

Click-Click!
I don’t think PBY-5A was claiming copyright on this photo.
As can be seen, they are indeed identical!
I hope no law suits are bought :D:D:D
Thanks for that, after some searching I have Mike Eastmans phone number so shall give a call tonight 😉
Modern Going Old
Very nice to see these schemes popping up. I wonder how nice a Tucano would look in a silver and dayglow orange set up as per the older JP’s….
Maybe your B17 then :D:D:D
P.S. – Speedy, thanks for that link!
Very sad indeed!
