Although I never came across this while overhauling props at CFS Aeroproducts, I’d give them a call as they have a lot of technical manuals on such things!!
She is still alive!
WISHING ALL AT THE LIGHTNING ASSOCIATION A MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Latest updates taken from the association website. Hopefully we will all see major progress in 2013:
After an expert overhaul of the hydraulics and brakes by Gary, John, Gary and Charles have finally moved the Bloodhound fork-lift up on to the camp beside XR724 and it will soon be ready to remove the radar bullet to allow access to the engines with a borescope. Unfortunately, nobody who can operate the borescope is still thin enough to fit down the air intake with the bullet still in place. There was a brief moment of drama when, while raising the forks to their maximum height to see if we had the clearance necessary to support to bullet one of the main hydraulic rubber hoses blew out, spewing several gallons of hot hydraulic fluid over the apron, and the forks crashed down, fortunately with nobody beneath them. As soon as this has been replaced we can arrange another engineering day to remove the bullet and get on with the inspection.
We had this happen to the Canberra at NEAM. Took me all day to scrub the graffiti off the whole side of the cockpit area!
I’d love to be locked in a room with these oxygen thieves!!
I wonder if it could be the background to Everett Aero?
It does say the jet is currently located in Suffolk so guess that would make sense!
I read somewhere he was part of the Pathfinder force… Is this true and what squadron’s did he serve with?
Welcome to the forum!

As Firebex has rightly stated, there were a few different types of the G45, so if you want to be accurate, make sure you obtain the correct one!
I’m pretty sure the one you will require is the G45 / 14A-380 model as fitted to the Vampire and Hunter… Please check this though as I don’t have my reference books available right now!
