Tornado64, Kev really does know what he’s talking about on this particular subject so it may be an idea to pay attention to what he says rather than question him!

    Paul

just because someone thinks they know all is no excuse for arrogance and bellitleing others

in education or educashun as some arses put it

some are less fortunate than others

my mother died when i was a child i got thrown about from pillar to post afterwards not recieving formal educashun !!

however i took myself back to college passing english in the top 2%

maths in the top 5% i also read and talk italian

i have worked on the eurofighter and tornado as well as the new rr trent 1000

even though i had a rough upbringing i was taught not to try to bellitle others that didn’t reach my own percieved ( not necessarily true ) standards

maybe others think they are clued up because they can tell others how fantastic thier educashun is

me i value people and observe thier information more if they have developed people skills educashun

something that is sadly lacking in our smart friend !!!

Having read the post regarding the theft of parts of the Shackleton, and the theft of the War memorial plaques. When these thieves are caught by the Police, (Pause for laughter!!), and appear at Court and sentanced, do you think the punish ment fits the crime, and the sentance, should they serve the FULL sentance as given by the Judge. They are let out early because of “Good” behaviour, Like what can they get up to in prison that would affect those outside?
I just love a good rant now and again.:diablo:

    Lincoln. 7

my thaughts are , if they are in prison that is what it should be

the tax payer is paying for them to have t.v’s , playstations , and then they turn round and try to sue you because they are there

give them bread and water and keep them locked up for 23 1/2 hours a day

and give the pensioners / sick a better deal

having problems posting images lately as i have no p.c. at home

i oil paint and yes there is absolutely loads to pick up to make skies and landscapes look convincing ( the planes the easy part !! )

a lot is done by good colour / shapes observation coupled with good tone observation and many blending techniques

( that only a lot of practice will bring out !! )

but on doodles , my latest was a cheeky tom cat viewed from the rear with tail up showing all ( as cats do !! ) whilst looking back with a smile and winking

done as a commision for a friend !!

will post a shot as soon as a p.c. becomes available !!

Black Beauty (1994 version) – the scene where Beauty (or Blackjack as he’s now known) stands in the pouring rain at a cab stand in London, and spies what was once his beloved Ginger being carried away on the back of a cart… 🙁

s**t i’d forgotten about that one !!! yep very sad !!

the book is a terrific read also , read it when i couldn’t get round to the stable to see mine after a bike accident !!

Champions: Aldaniti and Bob Champion win the Grand National, amidst Carl Davis’ classic rousing score.

    ..

    very few make me cry

    but that’s a good shout , never beat a real story !!

one that never fails though is ” notting hill “

” i’m just a girl standing infront of a boy , asking him to love her !!”

    superb emotional scene !

but what a t@t knocking her back !!
