Just a load of attention seeking and deluded individuals. I used to see them all the time when my friends and I were on the Anti-Nazi League marches in the 70s/early 80s. You have to feel sorry for them…………actually, no you don’t. I wonder if they stopped off in North Korea on their way home to congratulate their regime and its marvellous record on human rights and its outlook on other countries and the people who live in them.

ok so lets talk about the u.k.’s present perfect human rights

a prisoner who has murdered schoolgirls is allowed to sue for compensation and lives in perfect kept comfort

whilst a squaddie who lost his legs in afghanistan lost government bennefits because he could walk one or two steps assisted

good to know we are so perfect isn’t it !!

    human rights !!! ******** !!

the war is now a lifetime away !!
whilst not forgetting ours we should also remember other people died

most people now weren’t even there so it is time to draw a line

unless of course you delve further back in history to discover the british involvement in the potato famine

the british letting and contributing to indians deaths in the raj

slavery ( much of britain and the u.s. were built on it

and of course the good old british invention of the concentration camp !!

before critiscising others history , we should remember our own !!

Pilot Officer Sir Arnold Wilson, 37 Squadron, killed while flying as a rear gunner in a Wellington, 31st May, 1940. He was 56 years of age.

Private Edmund Henstock, 2/5 South Staffordshire Regiment. Killed in action whilst acting as a stretcher bearer, 25th April 1917. He was 38 years of age and left a widow and two children under 8.

Sgt. John Mears. Voluntarily joined Aly Sloper’s Cavalry in November 1914. He was 32 years of age and survived the war and was 39 on leaving the Army in 1921.

If you take a look at the Great War, it was not only young men who rushed to join the Services under age. Many men joined up even though they were outside the higher age regulations set throughout the war.

    That’s more or less it.

Bear in mind that, for some reason still unknown, the mortality rate was highest among young adults.

with common sense used it isn’t unknown

the young are psychologicaly easier to brainwash

say to an 18 yr old climb over there and rush towards a machine gun and he’ll stupidly view it as fun and adventure

say the same thing to a 40 yr old and he’ll probably tell you to ” get ********ed !!”

the forces rely on brainwashing and using it to thier advantage with the young

I thought it might be interesting to get the opinion/thoughts of a “young” person so here goes …

I think that if the wars didn’t happen, we wouln’t have teenagers my age or younger being pregnant, because people will still have jobs to fill.

I think that kids wouldn’t be looking for the use of drugs and alcohol to be a thing to “settle” this picture of oh so “woe is me” kinda thing …

I think that children would be educated a lot better and actually learn to be respectful because I think it’s terrible how rude I see some kids in shops when with their parents or having no ettiquette when eating at a table.

interesting thaughts , but alas not necessarily true there would have been a lot of young males not killed
that in turn may have presented a larger population than the baby boom

drugs were actualy used in ww2 amphetamines were widely used by bomber crews for long night missions

and L.S.D. was first tested on G.I.’s at about the korea or vietnam era

can’t deny about how some kids are although you cannot tar them all with the same brush

i am of the older generation and find you reap what you sow

i am polite and actualy talk to them as humans and 99% of the time i get the same mutual respect back

    Just out of interest.

If this is true, why do you now choose to ignore the simplest rules of English grammar, particularly those relating to the use of capital letters and punctuation?

    Moggy

plain and simple i am here for liesure activitys and relaxing

if i wished to have perfect english i would frequent an english apreciation forum

but to that ends what is english ??? it is merely a *******ised language

because if you were talking / writing true english it would be celtic

english is mainly developed from german by invaders from the angle and saxony regions of germany anglo saxons ( so english is mostly a german derived language !! ) with some spatterings of latin

but then there are spatterings of latin in celtic languages

finestra for window appears in welsh as well as italian so essentialy from the latin fennestra

and i can also add whilst people think they are smart crittiscising

i also have dissabillitys with arms and fingers so use minimal keys !!

Tornado64, Kev really does know what he’s talking about on this particular subject so it may be an idea to pay attention to what he says rather than question him!

    Paul

just because someone thinks they know all is no excuse for arrogance and bellitleing others

in education or educashun as some arses put it

some are less fortunate than others

my mother died when i was a child i got thrown about from pillar to post afterwards not recieving formal educashun !!

however i took myself back to college passing english in the top 2%

maths in the top 5% i also read and talk italian

i have worked on the eurofighter and tornado as well as the new rr trent 1000

even though i had a rough upbringing i was taught not to try to bellitle others that didn’t reach my own percieved ( not necessarily true ) standards

maybe others think they are clued up because they can tell others how fantastic thier educashun is

me i value people and observe thier information more if they have developed people skills educashun

something that is sadly lacking in our smart friend !!!
