Chris Evans bought his in May 2010 for £12million… not quite as expensive as your estimate, but still a hefty price!

What do you think to the ‘breadvan’ GTO?

    Rich

i personaly believe u.f.o. stories are bunk !!

whilst not believing we are in space alone i believe we as others will only ever have the resources to visit our own doorsteps

however if you look at the development of flight and the decades some of the wierd and wonderful designs first flew

is it any coincidence that the hieght of u.f.o. fever was from the 50’s till the 80’s

we only see now what was penned in the 80’s 90’s so what secret stuff are they working on now that u.f.o. stories are a far better cover up than giving design secrets away !!

Go read Frederick Taylor’s book on Dresden. Then come back with an informed opinion.

    Rich

no thanks !! my reading would be prefered from a neutral point of view

not my own british point of view !!

the war was practicaly over and we destroyed a full city ( mostly civillians )

putting that into context was a second nuke so close to the first the best tactics in japan

apart from testing on people and a city there was very little point in the second

as talks would have more than likeley seen surrender knowing what they were up against

it is intresting when we talk about WMD that we are the only ones to have used them !!

You’re talking about Slapton Sands and it was NO accident. Several hundred American soldiers were killed when a landing exercise was attacked by a number of German E or S boats. I believe there’s a recovered Sherman on the beach there as a Memorial. There is at least one book about it and any decent D-Day history mentions this incident.

yep read into it , as posted in the link above , it is more than likeley where the confusion comes from though

as time and cover ups bury it in the forgettable past !1

there is a true version of this , i forget the area / year but people supposed it was an invasion attempt

but it was actualy G.I.’S killed on excercise by an accident presumably their landing craft or ships were set on fire

but it was a disaster that was covered up and locals came to thier own conclusions !!

maybe this is what it gets confused with
