they were actualy 20 yr old asians from another area after a local lad because he did not want to get involved in racial conflicts !!

our nice new station is built that the only realistic way to get to it is by car ( i’m a long term resident and had to think for a few minuites of the walking route !!)

the old police station was convenient and easy to walk to even for an outsider !!

but that is the whole point when i worked as a street warden i personaly went between 12 lads that wanted to give one a kicking

i managed to stop it with no weapons to protect myself or protective clothing

the whole point is you have to meet a standard and police forces are woefuly short at preasant

if you don’t want to go in for whatever reason hand your uniform in on the way to the job centre

because members of the public are watching that want property protecting and themselves

by the way the situation with the 12 lads against 1 was difused by stepping in and talking to the community

something that is sadly lacking in todays forces i cannot for the life of me remember the last time i saw a police officer walking in our town

but wr have a loveley brand new police station with them driving everywhere and they always seem to make it out of the station for the football

Next time you’re in a queue of traffic, bitching about the delay stopping you from getting home for your tea, and pass a traffic pile-up, rubbernecking as you go, just give a thought (what a waste of time that idea is) to whose job it is to clean the blood and broken cars off the road,

that’d be the fire brigade , paramedics and recovery vehicle drivers then !!

When another nutter goes berserk with a gun, or samurai sword, will we see you waiting in line to go out, and help take him off the streets? No, of course not; it’s so much easier to carp, from the comfort of a nice chair, in front of a computer screen.

aye fair enough but in the main incidents recently many were killed and the gunmen had topped themselves before you got there !! and lets not forget standing back and doing nothing in the london riots !!

one has to ask with public opinion of the poor performing police is that what incentive has been put in place to make g4s stuff up so suddenly the police look good ???

the olypics is but a few weeks it will be business as usualy shortly after !!

i was curteous to the extreeme up to about 15 yrs ago when the police disregarded solving crime and working with communities to being about milking everyday people out of hard earned cash

i’ll end with a market traders feedback to myself when i worked as a humble town warden turning up to a theft case

” thank god it is your lot that has turned up , the police are worse than useless and probably wouldn’t turn up atall !!! “

unfortunately we were unable to physicaly catch the thief but 3/4 of an hour later the property was returned to the stall holder !!
