Now, if it were a Beezer Road Rocket, like I used to own, and like a prat sold it, then thats a different matter.
I was looking recently at a 1948 BSA bantam, they “only” wanted £2.000 for it, and that was in need of a full restoration.
Gawd only knows what the likes of Blue 2 pay out in their restoration projects, Lincoln .7.

that’s exactly why i avoid brit bike restorations ( loveley bikes ) but prices are stupid for a bag of rusty parts

some of the jap stuff is just as classic now and a hell of a lot cheaper

you can get a fully sorted classic jap for what you’d pay for a box of rusty parts for a brit , a no brainer realy

if i was spending that sort of money to do a bike i’d want one of these

    something new and difrent

Hi. By the looks of her, she wont take up a lot of time to do, but I suppose it depends on how far and how much you want to spend on her, and what you intend to do with it when restored.Having done a huge amount of restoration work as a hobby over the recent years, I hope you have deep pockets, as it can be expensive.
    Lincoln .7.

after 2 triumph heralds and one morris minor it should be a walk in the park

well that and that i used to help restore bikes at a friends motorcycle shop helps

and they are exceptionaly cheap for parts

    full exhaust new £60.00

    footrest rubbers (pair ) £5.00

    indicators (each ) £6.00

very easy on the pocket and 110 to a gallon

damned right it is !! the bbc is p*ss*ng in the same pot as all the others anyway

i’m pretty sure in a roundabout way that ” dave ” is owned by the bbc

if not it is suprisingly odd how soon they get top gear

and all the programes seem to be bbc productions

    and they show adverts

Would it be because they take credit for the work of others?

he does work .. just not what he is supposed to be doing .. but he is permenantly in the managers office saying how everyone else is doing things wrong !!

yet i have never known someone off sick as much ( usualy weekends ) or dodge off as much or complain as much about everyone else in the team

, when and what did you complain about last, and the result?.

    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

last week ……, a lazy , work dodging , manipulative , back stabbing , non trustworthy work collegue ………..nothing was done because management think the sun shines out of his ass

typical blinkered and innefectual british management …till there’s a major screw up and they are masters at shifting blame

if only they were as effective at good management in the first place !!
