BoB = Battle of Britain (The Movie)

The avatar of mine is the squadron insigna of FlSt 16, former UeG St IV, the first unit to operate the P-51D in Switzerland….. and the beast is called “Pegasus”

do you own shares there ? It sure is a bypass to the resident photo-upload tool here, and a great solution for boards that do not provide such a possibility.

But we still want to see it working again.

Friday night: Pizza & Beer & DVD night at home
Saturday: sleeping in, Brunch, afternoon Swiss AF Museum to do some “walkarounds”, evening cinema “The Aviator”
Sunday; sleeping in, Brunch, extended stroll through Winterwonderland, working on my book-project, cooking dinner (Thai-Food), later scanning some negs & slides

Not bad, eh ?

That’s the scheme on Bob Guildford’s Mustang Club aircraft. Crashed in 1980 in California killing aviatrix Pancho Barnes son Bill.

Yup – but it was rebuilt using Indonesian Mustang components and eventually returned to Europe as “Temptation”, only to fatally crash again in the Swiss Mountains 1998.
