Was it the first OFMC P-40 that had the naked lady painted on the tail?
The Russians showed a ‘civil’ ejection seat for light aircraft at Paris, I think it was in the earlier 2000’s. The aircraft used was a SU-26 or something similar

I can assure you it was the USAF flying the B-52s, Went down to see them at the time and the only English voice I heard were mine and the other spotters! Why anyone would believe they were lent to the R.A.F. is beyond me.

The R.A.F. exchanged pilot on the F-117 also displayed the aircraft at RIAT…..in formation with the Red Arrows, what a sight that was!

TFC no longer have twins due to a European ruling that does not allow Stephen to fly them, hence the reason they have all been sold.
I never had any problems getting them back from any magazine but then I would always send a copy anyway. It is far easier with digital as you can just send a disc off. I dont bother anymore as they all have associated freelance photographers so you are lucky to get anything in, unless you have something special that is!
Unless they had any of thier own photographers there! If they did you might as well forget it!
Just post them off to the magazine and cross your fingers thats what I used to do.

My only regret is that they always seemed to display the P-47 high or further back so it was hard to get the perfect shot. Still I have seen Snafu and heard Snafu so a big thank you to the Fighter Collection for giving me the oppertunity.
There are still some great airframes to come on line so there are still some amazing gems to enjoy.

The display line and center daytum was moved a few years ago due to aircraft going over the village and safety concerns. I wish they would pull over the interesting visitors, there was some good vintage stuff on the far side this year.

Mr Grey had to stop flying twins some years ago due to a change in regulations hence the reason for selling the B-25 and replaceing his twin run around with a single engined PC-12. This also put a stop to work on the Beufighter.
I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Grey and im glad I will be there to witness his last display.
Hunter spotted near Bassingbourne around 5 on Sunday
Made my day!…..Good old Bruce!
Airfix and Humbrol made profits for the group. Its on the Airfix Facebook page. Humbrol was by 20%!
Well I hope its more interesting than they are in P-51’s!
