I think if this goes ahead which it has a good chance of doing it would make RAF Valley the busiest and possibly largest RAF base as there are over 120 Hawk’s in the current aircraft fleet. I do have doubts about concentrating so many aircraft into one base and concentrating all fast jet training in one area. Maybe I’m just a crazy paranoid person but I still have reservations.

I think Brize Norton would still be the largest and busiest tbh, since 24 of the hercs from lyneham are supposed to be moving there…. alongside the A400m (if its ever finished) and the C17’s AS well as the whole AAR fleet!

imho Brize makes a tempting target as it is, but if this move goes ahead, the ENTIRE heavy lift and AAR capability of the Raf could be crippled 😎 makes me sick tbh

what i meant, was that since the town “Beverly” is in close ish proximity with Raf Leconfield, id guess that the Paull Beverly was ferried into there and then roaded to the Transport Museum?

Beverley XB259 was acquired from Court Line by Hull Aero Club for use as a clubhouse and I am pretty sure it flew into Paull, which must have been quite a sight.
I am not sure if the Aero Club ever used it but it was sold on to the Museum of Army Transport based nearby. The army museum foundered a while ago and the Beverley moved the short distance to her current location.
I think this a pretty accurate summary of events but there may be others who are much closer to Paull who can add more.

well this confuses me since as far as i can find, the museum of army transport was in beverly, some distance from fort paull which is downriver from Hull?

What Government overly cares about profit? Revenue, jobs for it’s citizens, yes. Profit, no. Companies care about profit. Governments have larger concerns…

Seriously? Im sorry that statement rings hollow in my mind considering the state that the UK is in at the moment…

I fear they will do nothing about it 🙁

The same board encourages speculation, at the moment they all seem fixated on some “clear fluid” which appears to me to just be condensation

Some people have no respect at all…
