well if you look at the Ebay listing i linked, and what the engine looks like??? Its the most expensive paperweight ive ever bought 😡

He also said it compression tested fine (clearly bull****) never mentioned it had been stored outside (which it clearly has)

Just AAARGH instead of having a working car, ive got a nice car and two bust engines 🙁

**** off ebay wont give me any money back for the engine. Is there any way to take it up with ebay themselves to get the seller to pay up?

I totally agree, but then again, why change something that works? Airbus have the A380 because they didnt have anything like it before (fair enough the A340 but not quite the same as a double decker)

I forsee that boeing will stick with th generic 747 shape for quite some time to come, after all people instantly know that a 747 is a Boeing aircraft 🙂

N747EX = 747-8F Id imagine that the Intercontinental version will have a longer upper deck.

Winglets are absent from the 787 too, that is obviously a mistake then? winglets can be replaced with fancy wing design, not apprent in either photo you have linked.

The crinkled TE to the engine cowling is for noise reduction, you are correct

Im pretty sure that the 747-8 has the lengthened sections immediately before and after the wing…
