Hei,
There is a discusion about this piece at another forum:

Perhaps that helps you a little.

Hei,
Theo Slot ( 1895-1949) became famous in The Netherlands with the Pander Postjager, which unfortunately crashed during the Londen Melbourne race in 1934. Someone in the Netherlands has enough drawings and a genuine engine to build a Scheldemusch, so perhaps one day we can see one in the air again!
Regards,
Mathieu.
Hei,
It’s in German: http://www.germanluftwaffe.com/Neuigkeiten/web/new%20site/frames2/Neuigkeiten.htm
Go to: Hinweise-termine and then to: Leuchtmasse bei geräte

Mathieu
Hei,
Perhaps a bit off-topic, but when was the Flamant retired from the France airforce?
Regards,
Mathieu.
Hei,
Perhaps my german is not as good as I think, but what I understand is that it is restored as airliner and not as a Condor of the Luftwaffe.
regards,
Mathieu.
Thanks!! Indeed a great source of information.
Regards,
Mathieu.
Hei,
Thanks for your reply! In need this information for my next project: an instrument panel of the Fokker T.8W from the Dutch FAA. In this panel there a 2 temperature indicators made by Smith & Sons. These are nearly impossible to find as they have Dutch text. Now I want to try to find “English” temperature indicators and make new dialplates. But I like to know how the casings look etc. So if you have any image of S & S indicators I’ll be pleased to see them. A example of another rebuild instrument can be seen at this site: http://www.fokker-g1.nl/design-step5.htm
Best regards,
Mathieu.
Hei,
I’ll check it for you whether it was a Bf 110 or Ju 52 that landed as first at Fornebu. But one book you have to read: “Fornebu 9 april”. writen by Cato Guhnfeldt. Absolute great book.
Hilsen,
Mathieu.
Hei,
Thanks for the explanation of fora, every day I learn something.

I don’t suppose that the Flamant engine that you have in your workshop is one of those that were stored in the main hangar at Niort Souché. It’s a long way from there to the Netherlands!
I bought the engine from a person in the Netherlands who bought 10 engines somewere in France in the beginning of the eighties. So it is possible that it was in Niort Souché. My engine was overhauled in 1977 and after that put in storage and never used again. Unfortunately Idon’t have the logbook of the engine.
Attached a photo of the engine in my workshop.

Mathieu.
Hei,
You write about “fora” and understand that that is a france aviation forum.
And about the flamant, I have a complete engine of a flamant in my workshop!

Mathieu.
Hei,
Does one of you have a url of this forum?
I tried with google but could not find it,
Thanks in advance
Best regads,
Mathieu.
Hei
That looks great Westland, great to see someone makes so much efforts to save an airframe!!
Attached a photo of my own Fokker G.1 project, this spring I started with the wooden centresection and hope to start with the rest of the fuselage in the near future. At the photo the instrumentpanel is missing, I keep it at home to avoid any damage. There has also been an update on the site about the redesign of the G.1: http://www.fokker-g1.nl
Best regards,
Mathieu.
Hie,
My Fokker G.1 cockpit project. No idea when it will be finished.
