    Sounds right to me.

Please bare in mind that saturday is a bank holiday because it is queensday then. While we may miss (another) free day this year a lot of people have taken days off next week. Expect the traffic to be worse than normal, also sunday.

Depends on how early you arrive. If you are early I’d start with the Polderbaan. For the moment only the east side is accessible (road works on the west side) so the sun will be in your back. You should be able to get the heavies from Asia and the US come in.

After around 11ish or 12ish go to the Kaagbaan to visit the departures of the heavies bound for Asia and the US. From that time the sun will be facing you anyway. At the kaagbaan you can stand till around 15:00 or 15:30, after that you will be facing the sun.

After 15:00 you can just drive around and see what you want. Normally I’d visit the west side of the Polderbaan, but as I said it is inaccesible. You might want to try the observation deck at Schiphol. It will have the sun in your side and turning more and more into your back as it gets later. Be sure to check the store with aviation models if you are into that.

The billiard will not be used for playing billiard anyway. Everyone knows that after 10 the billiard is converted into a stage for karaoke. And considering the number of Asian airlines that have ordered the A380, the billiard will be nothing more then a stage.

Karaoke in a plane…. please bring back the JT8Ds to make the sound bareable.

That makes no sense. Why would they stop the broadcast at 10.30 – the scheduled take-off time

Actually, it makes perfect sense. Just like with football and formula 1. First you get an hour of useless dribble to sound intelligent (and make the commercial brakes more lucrative), and then you switch over to a live “breaking news” presentation.

    I’ll miss it.

A Spanish shipping company is making an arse out of themselves and our Spanish sister company. I can solve the mess, so tomorrow is ******* busy. Probably won’t even be able to see my first glimpse of the A380 airborne till 19:00 at the earliest. No video/mediaplayer at the computers at work anyway. 🙁

A very good pic indeed 😀

Hey hey, don’t put Continental in that catogory 😀

Perhaps that’s the reason why none of their members are in financial difficulties. Unlike a certain other alliance where all North American airlines are (or recently where) in C11.
