Not seen or heard anything about it. The last new poppy plane I remember was the concorde shortly after retirement. And even it only had a poppy for a few days of which none airborne.
A plane with red wings and tail stands out from a distance. A white plane with cheatline does not stand out.

I hate BRU with a passion. It is the only place where I got harrased by the security morons and the one and only airport where I got lost LANDSIDE! Even LHR is more logical in layout which tells you something about BRU.
I must admit the new terminal looks sweet.

It could of course just be a hatch borrowed form another airline (BA?). That would explain why the entire hatch us in the same colour. No shadows or depth can be seen.

From Niederrhein to Dusseldorf is at least an hour and a half by car. God knows how long it will take by public transport (no busses to NRN). I hope they know what they are getting themselves into!

Of all the oilfields in the world past and present not even half (can’t remember how much exactly) can be extracted. The rest is too deep, in an unstable grounds etc. If extraction techniques are improved the amount of usable oil increases a lot.
Also, does anyone photograph aircraft with tripods?
Only when in museum. The rest of the time it is just too dificult to pan with a tripod or even a monopod attached to the camera.

I believe that LCY has only very limited services during the weekend (even closing large times of the day) because of enviro reasons and because there is virtually no demand to fly there during the weekends anyway. After all, LCY is a business airport catering mainly for Canary Wharf and financial district.

Anyone know any more of the YaK-48? Is this project ongoing or cancelled?
