Dutch NOS news is reporting that the data on both black boxes is readable. It will take a few weeks to collect and analyse all data before anything can be said on the cause of the crash.

I would guess so, but I am not a structural engineer. Mind you, considering the amount of F50s that are stored it is probably cheaper to pick up another one. Big sister KLM Cityhopper still has a lot of them stored.

OK, these are IL-86s instead of a IL-96s, but with their small engines I think these have even more character.

You’d think SATA and PGA would be good for a merger. SATA with the longer euopean and atlantic island routes, and PGA with it’s intra-Portugal and Spain flying. I do agree, the SATA scheme is nice. I wonder how long the metallic paint will last.

PGA was taken over a year or two ago by TAP. They now serve as a feeder.

I’m interested in improving my camera equipment for this years airshow season.
I would like a good digitial camera that will get me good close up air to air shots. Would anyone care to recommend a type of camera and lens I should go for? Thanks.

What’s your current camera? Do you already have a DSLR? If so, then a new lense would be all you need. If not, what’s the budget, and would you mind buying second hand to open more options?
