I am also considering going there. I would have taken the Tu154 flight on offer at the same website, had it not coincided with my trip to London. The departure is ast 13:30 so that is a reasonable time.
Like Wannabe I do want to get myself a window seat… and with me most likely anyone else of the passengers. That’s gonna be interesting.

I think they mean the one that is currently parked at AMS, G-BDXO. It is in the new livery.
Why would AA want to fly to Bristol? There are many more important cities in Europe that are lacking service. AMS for instance has no service from AA. Would that not be a city that atracts more and better paying (= business) travellers.
Snowflake has no slots allocated for the winter of 04/05 at Schiphol. Unless Snowflake gets some slots from SAS they are unlikely to go to AMS.
The sun is coming from directly in front of the plane it would appear. THat’s why the planes in the back are completely lit whereas the 747 is only lit full at the nose and lit barely at the tail.
As for the jet exhaust, I can’t really explain that. Having said that, I have made more than a few photos of 747s taking of where little or no exhaust was visible. Sam Chui is really good as RIPConcorde already mentioned. SC is not someone who I’d consider likely to cheat in any way shape or form.
You can actually see the faded transfers on the Air UK model as well. Just look at the bottom blue line where it ends, the fuselage turns a bit yellowish. The tail logo has a yellow border around it as well.
The lightning on that 747 is correct. The photographer seems to be standing at a taxiway linking the runway. Therefore it looks like that. Excellent photo made by someone with excellent connections at the airport!
Having said that, an ultralight vs. a MiG 29 and their AAMs sounds like an opening scene of a James Bond film.
In that case the ultralight would without doubt have won.
Won’t those religious police be able to smell that you had something to drink? If they do smell it, would that be sufficient grounds for arrest?
How many are left and on what route(s) are they?
Yeah I will be coming over, was there as well 2 years back. The A346 was in the static with the A345 flying. A Virgin Atlantic A346 was also available but on trade days only.
I will be in England from saturday afternoon the 24th to thurday afternoon the 29th.
ROFL good one Andy! 😀 Looking forward to seeing this one at Farnborough this year…
This is the list of Airbusses coming in for Farnborough. Any clue why the A340-500 is not coming? Also, still no word from Boeing on their commercial airplanes contribution. Two years back they had only one plane come over. The CONEXXION test bed, a 737-400.
