that is what i mean. Look at for instance AMS website. There is a list with 4 or 5 flights going to New York all supposedly by another airline. All of them are done by the same airline under the Star Alliance brand. Is it not easier to get one star alliance number instead of 4 or 5 individual airline numbers?
(destination is ficticuous, but you’ll get the idea)
perhaps of topic, will this livery only be applied to the airline, or also the shipping and trucking company? There must be 100s of 1000s of 40ft sea-containers in maersk blue!
Seems like a very good camera. Its pixel amount (3.2) is a bit limited by todays standard but as long as you don’t intend to print large size photos (A4 and larger) it should not be a problem. Check the link and in particular the users comments!

From the spot i made these photos of a 100mm will be enought for planes the size of DC10 and more. Just side-on though or perhaps at a slight angle for the 747s and A340s
If this runway is used for landings you can get into the final approach. There 100mm will be enough for everything including the dorniers and ATRs.
The spot near the taxiway is also very good for people with a small lense, but don’t expect many heavies here. The only heavies here are cargo planes. Other then that lots and lots of KLM Cityhopper Fokkers and most European airlines.
Check my website in the sig for more on spotting at Schiphol. It is getting quite complete now!
BTW, my camera is a Sony F717. It has a lense of 38-190mm. The digital zoom can double that, but i never use it.
In their defence it must be said that they have no control over the weather or the airport connections. They perhaps could have choosen a better airport to start from though!

I was old by comparison, 17. And the next flight was not for another 4 years.
I am sorry if I have bored you with trivial details on getting to Niederrhein. However, I feel that it is important as VBird is only based at this airport and it is an essential part of their service. I fear that this airport will not be succesful (and with it Vbird). It definately won’t be as it is now. And their transport links are directly responsible for it.

My return flight shot while boarding. This flight had actually been diverted. It should have gone from Copenhagen to Niederrhein. Due to a plane shortage, at least one plane got stuck on a fog filled airport, the plane got diverted to Schöneveld to pick us up. Room enough as only 9 passengers had boarded in Copenhagen. Shows you how good VBird is doing!

One of 7 planes that I got to see at the terminal was this cool plane!
