CDG’s claim to fame in the spotters community (aside from its horrible transferring)
Flash AIrlines, never heard of them before but they are egyptian.
No party is complete without a birthday livery, no?
Its big and it is… well its big. AF 772.
Air Plus Comet has painted this plane up with a FC Barcelona logo. I hope no one is a fan or Réal!

One of the latest additions to AF. A B747-400ERF
pic 3/9
Air India taxiing by at a very close distance. My digicam has a 48mm lense but could still not handle a side-on shot without cutting of either the nose or the tail or both. Hence taken slightly at an angle. I could of course have stepped back, but you’d have to contend with some spotter’ backs.

1. Beech 1200, Titan
already discussed and explained really well by “Wannabe pilot”.![]()
2. Embraer 145, BMI
still not sure about the airline, but most people seem to think it is BMI so I will go along.
3. B757, Air 2000 (new livery)
already discussed and, dare I say it, quite easy to recognise![]()
4. Saab 340, British Airways (or franchise)
This one still had some doubt by some of you, hopefully the pic below will clear any doubt.
This plane is definately not a Jetstream because 1) the plane is too large and 2) the planes nose is way too small.
I now think (KNOW) it is a BA. The livery is quite clear once you know what you are looking at. The speedmark can be seen behind the cockpit window. The coral blue line in the pic is the red part of the speedmark. The grey part just underneath is the dark blue part of the speed mark. Of course the same colours go for the tail.
5. Its an airbus alright, AIRLINE???
I am still not convinced it is either Air Malta (where is the cross on the tail, and what is the white spot and while we are at it, where is the cheatline), Swiss (also, where is the cross and what does the white part do there). It probably ain’t Air 2000 either because its colours on the tail are wavy and here the colours ain’t wavy. So, what is it?
(shouting by a guy just outside of the pic)
I just parked it for 5 minutes… don’t you have a real job to do… go catch some thieves or something!^… **@$N(@ @$^^@&()$ @$
Ryanair’ latest attempt at saving weight and money, carrying less petrol, proves to be a failure.
Rampers prevent disaster when sleepy captain forgets to put the handbrake on!
They indeed fly ‘300s to Niederrhein. It is quite dead for now, you won’t see a lot. The occaisional private plane and Ryanair. Maybe if you are lucky VBird A320 and a medevac helicopter.
Airlines still do, albeit in small numbers.
KLM had a new one delivered just last year. And then KLM had 2 new B747ERFs, AF has had a few as well and QANTAS too. Those are just the ones I can think of right not.
Basically two reasons that sales have become sluggish:
* the economy does not really favour really very large aircraft now. Many airlines see surviving as their first priority, buying new very large aircraft is very risky. Buying a smaller A330 or B777 is more prudent.
* Maybe other airlines are waiting to see how the A380 will perform. If favourable they may get the A380, and otherwise the B744 will still be available. Also, maybe the airlines are waiting for Boeings response to the A380. A update of the B744? (and I mean a bit more extensive an update then just adding ER)
So to summarise what we have for now:
1a Beech 1900 (Airline?)
1b Beech 200 Super King Air 200, Titan Airways
2a ERJ (Airline?)
2b CRJ (Airline?)
3a Boeing B757-200, Air 2000
4a S.340, (Aurigny?)
5a B737, (Air Malta?)
5b A320, (Airline?)
