being overwhelmed by past events
Sounds about rigtht, but I am not a native speaker either.
The heineken add again? That has been plugged a lot of times already.
Is that the Royal Flight F70 in the background of the Transavia (Spicejet) shot?
Yes it is. Not quite sure what it was doing. First they towed it from maintenance to the regional apron (as seen in the photo), and a few hours later they towed it back into the maintenance area.
Another oddity was a FlyBE ERJ145 that came in, taxied past the regional apron and taxied to Schiphol North (presumably) taking the long way round. Could this have been an diversion? Anyone know?
My apologies for resurrecting this thread, but i would like to point out that late July the Aviodrome will start a special exhibition on the Dutch Naval Air Arm.
To that end the ROC aviation college in Hoofddorp has moved their Tracker to the Aviodrome. It left on a barge two days ago and is expected to arrive today. The Tracker will become part of the special exhibition. No word on if it will be indoors or outdoors, but since it will “regularly run its engines and fold/unfold the wings” it seems likely to be outdoors. No word either on whether the ROC wants the Tracker back after the exhibition.
Of course this does mean that, at least for the time being, the Aviodrome will have two Trackers. What is to happen with the first one has not been revealed.

What are KLM’s plans with their MD 11’s??
Adam
they’ll be safe for at least another 5 years
I have a question and hopefully some of the more astute forum members may be able to answer this, and hopefully create a debate amongst others, here it is:
Why can I sit at my computer listening via the Internet to most of the ATC centres in the USA but I can not listen to ATC at Gatwick Airport 6 miles away from me?
One would have thought in a more security enlightened USA that this facility would be shut down, and in the UK it is illegal to listen to ATC’s.
Bex
Are you sure it’s illegal? Cause whenever I go spotting in Manchester or one of London’s airports there always seem to be some wtih scanners.

Nice photos. I am particularly interested in the Interstate ATR as it is the only Dutch airline that I have yet to spot myself. What was it doing there, where did it came from?
Could you please let us know the settings you used? Grainnyness can come from a lot of factors. My first impression was that this may be related to the ISO rating.
Anti-missiles systems yes, like on their 747-300, like Air Force One, and others VIP liners.
My guess as well. Probably anti heat seaking missiles. As you can see they are not just located under by the APU, but also at the rear of the wing pylons. The latter is also clearly visible in the APU photo.
On the airbus it is also interesting to see how many antennae there are. This guy must love his wireless connection! 😀
I worry about loosing my wallet or my bag when flying. This guy would have to seriously worry about misplacing a plane or two! That’s quite a fleet he’s got there.
Fokker!
well adam the problem i have is she wont tell me what settings she used 😮 😀 😀 😀
RAB..
you can check that easily with the EXIF of the image

 KLM 733s to replace 733s?
Sorry, should of course have mentioned 737-700. Have edited my post.
