Me Three.:D
Might be up for that as well as long as I know the date well in advance. The move to my new house earlier this year has been very painful for my savings account, so any trip will need to be booked in the 0,01GBP price range! 😉
I got one question concerning the Trident, have the wings been restored to original length? I seem to recall that while at LHR the Trident had its wings clipped.
Thanks for the comments, chaps.
Nice to see that the art of comedy is still alive and well………
Isn’t England supposed to be the country to comedy? Just sit back and enjoy it!

Ooh god, I remember again why I hated French class at college. Scariest of it all is that I can read and understand what you wrote! Guess I shall have to contact my French teached from yesteryear and collect the winnings from our wager! 😉
I love that CSA sunset shot! Have you considered trying to upload it to airliners or jetphotos?
Have had a look through Jetphotos for other shots at UUEE. Noticed that none of the photos are from the same angle as you are shooting. Is the place you are shooting from airside? Private property? Or is it just a coincidence that I found not other shots like it.
Pics don’t work here. If they are the same as at the SG-volkel forum then they are really nice! 😉
Went to Volkel as well but in the evening to catch some of the late flights. Did see a sqn take off, but no landings unfortunately. Therefor I could get no pics, except for the “trauma-heli”.
No mention of it on thegreat wall website. MAN is listed under the 2006 winter schedule, but to my knowledge that never happened. The summer 2007 schedule has not been added to the site yet.
I have also gone Lowepro just like Si. I got the slightly bigger Computrekker Pro though.
I found the bag to be the exact size I need. It will take all my current gear, as well as sufficient room for some future toys I got in mind. Take that in mind when buying a bag! You should not buy a bag in which everything barely fits. Sooner or later you will get more equipment. Or you may want to pack some underwear and T-shirts to avoid carry-on luggage on planes. Speaking of planes, make sure the bag is not too large either so as to avoid having to check it in.
Other factors that made me go for this bag is that it is watertight. You should not drop it into the river, but it will survive heavy rain better then you will.
Also, I just love the waistbelt. It may look geeky, but after a full day hauling my gear around with the old bag my shoulders and neck hurt a lot. This is no longer the case with this bag, as most of the load is transferred to the waist. I really had not expected this basic strap to make so much difference!
Lastly, a bagpack does not draw as much attention in a city from the would-be pickpockets. A side-bag draws more attention since they are more likely to have cameras and valuables, whereas a backpack is more likely to have dirty underwear and tourist maps! 😉
The Lowepro range is rather expensive, but I never looked back after buying it.
Not quite sure what to expect from the description. It’s a bit vague. Are they describing a train layout?
The first two or three numbers/letters are assigned by either ICAO or IATA. Can’t quite recall which but believe it was IATA. The rest of the flight number can be assigned as the airline sees fit using any numbers or letters (Yes, letters can be used as well, but rarely are!). Most airlines go for 3 or 4 numbers for their flight numbers.
congrats!
SURPRISE! (hope you still got a wall left now)
Happy birthday!
Was the TV apperance about photography?
It is for a TV programme about aviation in general, they will do a special episode about plane spotters. The photographers and the number collectors alike.
The presenter described it as “Top gear for planes”. Can’t recall having blown up a caravan, or a powerslide with a 747 (while complaining about legspace in economy), but it seems a good description nonetheless. 😀
Figures, the second they get a nice livery they change it into a new bland livery.
How many liveries have there now been? Three basic liveries with something like 5 variations total? So this will be #4 (or #6 depending on how you count) in just years.
gents, please….
The D30 is actually a predecessor of the 10D. The D30 was Canon’s first DSLR and was 3 megapixels. They then in that series introduced the 6 megapixel D60, then the 10D, 20D and 30D. 🙂

There’s a 30D and a D30? Damn, did not even know there was a difference. LOL
