Yes, the complete flypast routed over Halton on the way out of London.
The Hawk Six certainly does look smart. Worthy of a couple more pics I reckon:

Last update on their website was engine ground runs on 26th April.

I know it’s not historic, but it’s not the first one in this thread and I find it interesting. I just walked out into the car park at work, heard the unmistakable sound and looked up to see it pass over me on approach into Luton. Makes a change from the usual stuff. 🙂
Hopefully this helps. NATS pdf file
According to Sky News:
It will house a bronze sculpture of seven aircrew by Philip Jackson alongside include inscriptions from Sir Winston Churchill and carvings of Hurricane and Spitfire aircraft.
This seems like an odd choice of aircraft for a Bomber Command memorial.
We only said it LOOKS wrong, not it IS wrong. I’d wear the safest modern equipment myself if I was flying these aircraft.
joe pasquale owns and operates his own YAK52!
How do ATC cope when his squeaky voice comes over the radio? I’d be too busy laughing to give him instructions. 😀
I agree with you, bms44, on the bone domes looking wrong, as demonstrated here in the Queen Bee at Little Gransden last year.

I just thought the Spit photo was crying out for monochrome what with the leather helmet and no people, cars, etc. in the frame to give it away as modern.
Oh, and no the Seafire didn’t fly.
Thanks for the comments all.
They do provide timetables of when the various zones are in use at MoD
Thanks for the tips Paul. I’ve only got Photoshop Elements that came with my PC. If you can do it on there I’ll give it a go with some of the photos that I’m bound to make a mess of at North Weald tomorrow. The trouble is I take too many photos so if I were to go the whole hog editing them all I’d build up a huge backlog.
I don’t know what the story is on the Miami Air 737s, but N733MA arrived just before 2 o’clock and N742MA (see part 3 post) departed a couple of hours later.
I’ve got Chipmunks WB652, WP981, WZ872 at Cambridge, WK517 at Leeming and WP974 at Coningsby, Vigilants ZH121 and ZH122 at Henlow and Dakota G-AMPZ at Luton.
Thanks and no, it’s not your monitor settings. Some of them are over-exposed. I should probably learn how to use a camera properly and take it out of auto mode!
No idea if that’s a new service, but I’ve never seen them before either.
