We have them operating at our airfield (Watts Bridge, Queensland)most weekends, and the old Bensons still get regularly trotted out – personally I find them very boring and noisy.

The last time I spoke to the guys doing the restoration they’ve had excellent feedback from Australia but they were still looking for internal pictures of the cockpit to help speed up their work.

…. you can see theres a seperate restoration group for boats :p

There’s a drainage culvert between the two sites at Newark but I’m not sure that it’s big enough for boats – depends on how much rain there is before the event! 😮
