I have seen “airworthy” European airliners in a much worse state than many Russian airliners. Indeed the Russian ailiners that we get into the UK are always supremely maintained and cleaned. As for some of the African operators using Western types, well….
Yup, its currently in the voting stage. Staff are fed up with being moved around and are upset with the managemtn and lack of direction. The only question is will they still have jobs if industrial action goes ahead, as it would not be too difficult for BA to get rid of them all…
Think you’ll find its pernickety.
Yup, he is still with them!
Steve: Thats one difficult question!
ACA: There are currently 2 777s left in Chelsea Rose, VIIO, and VIIS. BA are taking a while to repaint the 777 fleet, but it looks like they will all be painted into Union Flag by the end of the first half of the year 🙁
Not sure about your questions, but that Islander in Jamaican colours was operating for Loganair last year, I dunno what its doing in the Channel Islands. Maybe Saab can help?
I have the same pic on a magazine cover printed in August/September 😀
Not a regular UK airframe, come on, you gave us a clue to the other one…?
Although this one was actualy painted up in September!
Yup thats correct, but these are still being operated in franchise. I am still very confused about the Islander situation though.
Ah that clue is too easy!
Saab 340!
Although I find it amazing how similar most prop cocpits look when you compare different Jet cockpits. Or is it just me?
However FR want an all B738 fleet, so at some point soon they are going to want to get rid of those horrible B733s (Especially the ex CO ones), where would this leave Buzz’s AOC?
Yup thats right! It can also go a bit higher and a bit faster I think. Best not let Wys see this though 😀
Now re-checked the schedules and whilst it is impossible to buy a ticket between Lerwick and Fair Isle anywhere on the internet, BA still report the flight as being operational through the “latest flight news” option
Hehe, that SAS B736 looks positively photoshopped its so small! I was lucky enough to park right where that TCX 757 is parked in my DHC8 back in Novemeber, a few days after she was moved there! Pity those silly engines hang DOWN from the wing in a Dash 8
