    Congratulations Ian!

(Does this mean that I can badger you to let me (carefully) take measurements from the Harrier?!)

……..and if you ever have a spare moment you are welcome to visit the
T2 just across the road from you.

    Best regards,

    Ian Sheffield

My tasks on the T4 are to:

Replace the air intake ribs with proper, skinned ones (if my back allows me to lift them and if the ones from XD670 ever arrive in Scotland – (hello John!)).

Attach the u/c doors to keep the neighbours cat out.

Re-hinge the canopies so that they open from the correct (port side)!

Re-inflate the intake blanks (again) and find the leaks.

THEN, maybe I can start work on the instrument panels.

    Best seasonal wishes,

    Ian.

2-seat Harrier picture at last (I hope)

Attached is a recent pic of part of my T2/T4 as a test post.

    Note the home-made canopies!

    Cheers,

    Ian.

My apologies for the picture of the 2-seat Harrier not appearing!
My most-compressed jpeg is still above the posting limit at 311kb.

When I tried compressing it to below 100 kb it went all to pot!

Thanks again to Dave for continuing research on it, however.
    Any information gratefully received.

    Cheers,

    Ian.

A picture of what may be XW272

    Hi All,

Thanks to Dave for mentioning my 2-seater Harrier.
Attached (hopefully) is a picture. It is a T2 which with the Ferranti
nose probably makes it a T4.

This picture is of it when it arrived this Summer. It now has
home-made canopies. More pictures are available if members wish them.

    regards,

    Ian.
