P/O D.F.Holland Killed. (Baled out after being shot down by Bf109s. Died on admission to hospital)
His last words, to the doctor at the hospital, were ‘I am alright old pal, Dutchy can take it.’
Geoff.
Geoff, you should be on “I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue” 🙂
I’m a big fan of the show Dave. They did do a recording at a theatre only a couple of miles from me recently, but by the time I heard about it all the tickets had gone 🙁
If you’re a fan too, check out this – http://www.isihac.co.uk/

Forgotten something?
 Geoff 🙁 I will be there next season 😉 😉 Anna 😉 😀 😀 Take Care XX 😀
I expect we shall meet before then 😉
Geoff.
Great news Steve. What about the 3rd October?
Scramble
 I was only saying that if the OFMC Portacabin was felt to look out of place, it could be disguised, or replaced by a more WW2 looking building, to blend in with the the WW1/WW2 buildings at Duxford. I never said that the OFMC should be turfed out.
Geoff 😎
There’s a one-eyed cat around here that’s always walking backwards.
How about ‘First Light’ by Geoff Wellum. ‘Squadron Airborne’ by Elleston Trevor would be good but with less arial combat scenes, no love story, and more emphasis on the Erks and other ground staff. Without them…
Geoff.
If these two events are as successful as the last one, then I’m sure we’ll be doing more next year, after we open at Easter. You never know, Peter might be at one of those.
Geoff.
Que?
You must be the chap I gave the bookings address to on the BoBHS forum.
Geoff.
Why is the person in the third photo wearing a red box over their head???
You don’t need to get rid of it, it could be disguised with some timber cladding & ‘blast protected’ windows, or perhaps when it needs replacing, a ‘modern’ Nissen hut (if anyone makes something like that these days) could be used, both suitably camouflaged. Not that I’m trying to tell OFMC what to do, but it would be worth considering if the cost was not too prohibative.
