    the Argosy was moved last week, its now inbetween hangers out of public view. reason being that they museum did’nt want it stuck in the mud and its due to go into hanger 1 once valiant sorted out. The Javelin is in storage (other side of airfeild) been re-painted without sqdn markings! New hangers outer-skin is nearly finished.

    the Andover (XS641) is RAF not museum property! They got their own one!! I’ve been informed that the C-17 trip will be a training trip for the crew (small strip training), bonus being it has a important cargo to deliver! Something like a C-17 coming to Cosford will be quite a site as its only a small unit.Certainly wake the locals up!! I do have other photo’s of the stations training a/c if anyones interested?

    just as a matter of interest, those in the Cosford area, keep October 12th free. If all goes well a RAF C-17 is delivering a F111! will keep you up to date (unless someone else does!). managed to get over other side of airfeild last week.The reseident Andover is slowly being dismantled, not sure if for scrap or its moving elswhere yet.
