I did not use a drone for this all the aerial shots were done from Gary’s helicopter, it would have been very difficult to operate the drone legally with the public around etc.

I will be editing and posting the second video soon, this one shows the aero engine runs and we were able to establish a sterile area to launch the drone and I got some great aerial shoots of the Vimy running albeit from a long way away.

Referring to Joe90 and Creaking Door’s Post above, I am the person responsible for this work and can tell you that there are a number of PLAYLISTS dealing with events at Brooklands since 1984 when I first moved there with my company National Rescue.

Brooklands pre 2000 which has much footage of the Brooklands aircraft collection arriving. Plus some of the old buildings like the fires station, some hangers and the canteen.

Brooklands after 2000 including some events, the rebuilding of the site and the arrival of later aircraft like the Vimy.
