How you going to refuel at the runway there are no tanks out there and what do you think they are going to close a runway for a 747 to fuel up thats BS
i have flown in and out of sydney countless times and thats the most ridiculous thing i have heard.
It is not acceptable to refuel with Pax onboard and would never ever happen least of all from QANTAS

I am a big fan of the old GE CF 6 50E2
seen on old Lufthansa 747s absolute pearler of an engine and one of the less noisier also and look stunning

could not get a Cairo to Frankfurt flight on the more roomier A340 was sold out but Lufthansa is crap fullstop so would not have matterd.

i sat on a A319 from Cairo to munich for 4 hours 35 min
it was the most awful flight i have been on
lufthansa short haul planes have no entertainment at all so u sit there twiddling your thumbs
never again

I am aware that on a previous trip to Australia she was flown here by a Qantas 747-400 VH-OJU a friend of mine was the first officer on the journey

A good business class to try is Emirates and Scandinavian both are award winners

I agree with Kabir star is the biggest and most popula but i prefer oneworld the service and quality of the airlines is much better.

the last time i flew economy was on a flight home and it was shocking compared to the cockpit seat but then again that is the royal first class seat i would think
