and i am pretty sure that not all airbuses have a common cockpit.I think think the A300 and A310 are different to the rest of the airbus variants

I think you will find that cockpit in the 757 and the 767 are almost identical is what i should have said and requiers very little training to switch from one to another

The 757 only because my first rating was on a 767 and they are an identical cockpit which makes it an easy switch. But the A321 is a comfortable plane and handles well so i found on a lufthansa flight.I have always seen boeing as a superior product to that of Airbus

Yeah they are a great plane and they take a fantastic photo also.Jal is a big user aswell as Thai,Delta and American also KLM and Finnair use them on longhauls. For me its the best aircraft to photograph from side on and i love it

    RE: Flight deck

we at Emirates are now banned from allowing guests to the flight deck and the doors have been reinforced and remain locked throughout the flight except to Cabin Crew.So if you are hoping for a glimpse of the flight deck on an Emirates flight then you may want to try another carrier.Although i did fly my mum in the jump seat on take off at Singapore and landing in Dubai and she loved it but thats for crew family, general public won’t have a chance although we used to allow guests after sept11th the first change was to cockpit security

    RE: AN 225 FLYING AGAIN

Well i would have thought that the an124 would be good enough to do the job but looks like thats not the case so whip out the 225 that should get it done.I dont think we will see it to often but and the only time i have seen it flying was at paris airshow this year.If it gets a regular gig well and good but i doubt it,I am flying back to Dubai tonight so i may pop over to Muscat to check this thing out again.

    RE: Biggest aircraft

Saw the AN 225 flying at the paris air show far out it is a massive plane and that was some 4 or 5 months ago so it has to be the biggest and i got the fotos to prove it to
