Just what exactly are you trying to sell Nige ?:p :eagerness:
All kidding aside, thanks to those who take time to post pictures and info for us to enjoy, by whatever means.
Andy
Yes, taking the life of Don Hinz.
It was rebuilt and flew for a number of seasons.
The most recent rebuild was required due to a gear up landing.
Andy
Does anyone here have any idea what these are like to fly?
For some reason it looks a bit squirrely to me.
Looks like a really nice job on this one.
Thanks for the pictures Mk 12
Andy
You have every right to be chuffed!
You all do. It’s a lot of work and it takes guts to post it for all to see. Thanks for the reply.
It would be nice if all those who say it can’t be done, would keep out of the way, of those doing it! 🙂
Andy
I’ve been following as well. Well done indeed.
The before and aft shots really show a lot of progress.
Question.
What can be done to protect, those lovely new cowl rings from deteriorating?
Andy
Another trespasser “discovering” things that are not lost.
That’s some excellent reporting.:p
Andy
Wow!
Lots of progress. Thanks for the update.
Andy
XP-82
Good possibility of a Mosquito two ship.
Fly safe all.
Andy
Brian and David,
I don’t say it nearly enough. I greatly appreciate the time you gents take to post such excellent images on this forum.
Thank you
Andy Scott
Thanks for the reply Denis.
I can think of a couple of worthwhile projects that these parts could go to….. …. Just sayin” 😎
Andy
On another note, I bought a couple of Typhoon T-shirts today 🙂
What is the fate of those legs Denis?
Andy
It’s not a………….
It won’t be at…….
Oh never mind.
Is it really still Canadian registered?
Andy
If it’s a bunch of members from this forum, there will be far too much sand thrown around this sand box!
Safety goggles and those stupid hi vis vests mandatory. 😀
Andy
Eventually, yes.
We (I have a partner) have reserved the registration. CF-DHQ
They get recycled in Canada, unlike the U.K.
I wanted to keep its identity the same.
We also have another 82C. It used to be CF-EIX. This reg is now C-FEIX carried by an Emb 175.
