This is just like the Iran-Iraq war, remember that? For EIGHT years it went, over 2 million victims… the israelis and the americans were supporting Iran, and the americans and their “allies” were supporting Iraq. Yep, you read that right.
Btw look at how the syrian civil war went, first the “rebels” seemed to be winning, but suddenly the weapons transfers dried out, so the government was slowly pushing back. Now the weapons (and possibly “liberating” bombs) will flow again and the whole cycle will repeat itself. We’re “barely” into HUNDRED THOUSAND dead, long way to go folks, long way to go… 🙁

Actually i saved that stuff, length 29m, wingspan 22m, bay length 10.5m, bay width 2.5m, small bay 4.5 m long

How much fuel would you estimate this JH-X thing could carry Paralay ? How about a rough estimate of engine SFC and rough estimate of range/combat radius? Thanks.

In fairness, especially that M2.42 figure must have been calculated based on what Metz said. He might have casually said sixteen hundred miles an hour by rounding the real figure up, but i won’t expect him, especially in public (and given the american paranoid secrecy), and also given the need of showing his employers’ product in the best light, to quote a more exact figure. It could very well be the maximum speed is 1550 mph or 1560 mph etc. Also i think Paralay himself brought the subject of suitability of F-22’s fixed intakes for such speeds. Of course, i’m just saying, i’m no expert here and i could be totally wrong.

I guess same applies for T-50, of course.

There are also some more spesific news, however, take them with huge huge grain of salt, as they are basically impossible to prove right at this point:

Thanks for the info on 052 Berkut, indeed i missed your post, and interesting details like above. Imo, even if the actual performance tested/measured is TWENTY percent less than what’s rumoured, it’s still remarcable. Imagine if the above is actually more or less true, god T-50 this will be a killer, and even more so with the new Type 30 engines!
What are the “high” figures quoted for F-22, supercruise at M1.72 and max sped of M2.42, right ( though of course perhaps sizable amounts of salt are required here too)?
Btw, anything new on T-50-5, still slated to fly in the “second half of the year”, any idea when ? Thanks.

In other words, this JH-X ( hope i’m not far away with the designation , because fan speculation appears to show it carrying AAMs, sorta like JH-7 does) might be a complement for the H-X flying wing. How cool would that be if it turns to be real? 😉
