    Hello Everyone.

I visited the ARCO/HFL hangar at Duxford on 20/1/06. Unfortunately I was not allowed to record the reg/serials of the aircraft in this hangar. In the ARCO side there were several Spitfires, a Hurricane (on overhaul for the BoBMF), a Beaver, an American registered Texan, a type of jet similar to a Sabre or a Mig, plus a light American military aircraft possibly a Grasshopper. possibly others.

In the HFL hangar there were around six Spitfires in various states from airworthy to derelict.

Does anyone know what the aircraft and serials were in this hanger on that day please?

    Very best regards

    Chris Wagstaff.

Sir I assume that you were an invited Guest to Area 51.

That said I would assume that you were requested to not publish any of your findings. So why are you now Bleeting about a company complying with “the Owners copyright requirements?” I also do not approve of the apeal to “Gagged” personell.

Dear Mogster ask Ashley to cost it for you . Her firm usualy manage to put a price that can be undercut. And that for aircraft not being airworthy.

I once asked TFC if we could move a Spitfire from the hangar to the ramp for some commercial photography.

    The quote was £1,000.

Multiply this by the number, size and weight of the aircraft you are talking about. Decide how many normal punters are going to be put off by entrance suddenly costing £10 more.

Is it a revenue opportunity? I’m not convinced.

    Moggy.

Right A lot of people A mountain of Opinions
    Fact.! Enginers Cost
To Move an aircraft is not A one man Job!
If it is not the one by the doors it will Double the time!
Then if it reqires An inspection/Rebuild to be interfered with it involves More”Engineers” AD INFIITUM! Sorry Folks but! Get Real in the Area of “Can you just” Money is tight & not Wasted Where Possible.
