Does anyone have a small ‘Air milage indicator’ going spare? I saw one a few months back at the Newark jumble, the little counter type display?

A fishpond indicator.
H2s Switch unit.
Deicer hand pump.
wartime aircraft parachute stowage bucket.
Pretty much anything Lancaster.

At 60 feet it’s best to be looking out and not inside at an altimeter, remember ‘one hiccup and your in the drink’…..

Not quite sure it was a technical failure judging by the tail rotor sticking out the side of the house. Looks like some one tried to park it in a hurry!!!!

No Idea, It’s not part of the museum but located a few hundred yards up the road. It looks very complete, painted an odd camo green colour and is laying on a stack of wooden pallets.

Seems an odd place to have it next to the road in a farm field as anyone could climb all over it.

There is a odd painted hunter in a field just up the road from Thorpe camp/ Woodhall spa in Lincolnshire.

I’d imagine it was just slang for the whole gun system ‘The sting in the tail’……
