MPs call for energy doorstep mis-selling compensation
SSE closed down its doorstep sales force earlier this month after being fined in court for mis-selling
Energy firm guilty of mis-selling
Ofgem: Why radical change needed
Energy companies should compensate customers who have been mis-sold gas and electricity deals on the doorstep.
The UK people require energy, why cheat them in the supply of it?
Speculation is/will be rife ……
Speculation is/will be rife ……
Is it the work of one accused/madman, more than one mad person/extremists or organisations operating through a few extreme agents in countries where the death penalty does not exist.
There is global economic recession biting in to everyone’s pockets and what better time than to spread the usual doom and gloom that it is all the work of the developing nation races, the muslims but of course not the greed of certain investment houses calling themselves banks that made the world topple.
Here is one aspect of speculation that can hopefully be excluded relatively quickly.

“….While they have arrested only one suspect, Sponheim said authorities have not ruled out the possibility that someone else was involved in the shooting on the island. Statements from witnesses to the mass shooting “make it uncertain if it was more than one person,” Sponheim said…”
They have the accused/shooter’s weapons. They have many corpses with bullet holes in them. Forensics can relatively quickly at autopsy verify which guns fired the bullets/ammunition. If they all match the so far only suspect’s weapons then there was only one person that did the shooting at Utoeya island. If not it is a whole new ballpark.
What I find extremely strange is that it took Norwegian Police 90 minutes to get to the island.

One minutes silence at 12 noon in Norway on Monday 25 July
One minutes silence at 12 noon in Norway on Monday 25 July
That’s in just over 36 minutes our time.
We should think about the horror that has struck the Norwegian people.

Why would a lone person, with so far no known psychotic history take out his own?

Once they get accurate forensic evidence as to the type of bomb, its uniqueness or similarity to other known terrorist organisations’ devices, then we may have better clues. Yes he could have used his business as a cover for obtaining fertiliser.(source of speculation Wikipedia)
Wikipedia also goes on to state that he had a pistol, rifle and shotgun registered to his name.
As yet no mention of family, siblings, or parents. He must have the latter probably alive as according Wikipedia his age is around 37 years.
It is quite an extreme swing of personality for a guy, in a country like Norway to go so far crazy to premeditate and do what he has done (even if it’s the 80 plus shootings of teenagers/young adults and not the bombs).
Where did he learn all the techniques for building bombs of the capacity that went off in Oslo ? Yes possibly the Internet but ……!
Let’s wait and see what the forensic news brings. If he is admitting to being the sole perpetrator of all this carnage then it surely could also be that he is so crazy that he may be taking the wrap for an extremist organisation that still has other plans. He may also be playing safe knowing Norway does not have the death penalty being a subscriber in 1988 to the European Convention on Human Rights.

Survivor of shooting – what a psychological trauma for these young people?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14259166
Witness to shooting and the horror of imagining they were safe (having heard shooting previously and run from it) when they saw a man in a policeman’s uniform to find that it was the shooter continuing to fire at them.
The question being rapidly pondered by terror analysts – is this the work of purely the suspect in custody, is he party to a group and being the martyr, or are the bombs (carnage caused, size of explosion/device, initial forensic analysis) which have the hallmarks of international terror group origins? If it is the latter then we must certainly all be very vigilant as this may be start of a build up towards wide spread terror attacks all over the world.
The people of Norway will take years maybe even a lifetime or more to recover psychologically from these events .
I hold them all in my thoughts and prayers.

Leaders outraged at Norway attacks
“….The gunman, named in reports as Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik, is also suspected of carrying out Friday’s Oslo bombing, but a police official said the attacks did not appear to be linked to Islamist terrorism.
The official said the attacks probably had more in common with the 1995 bombing that targeted a US government building in Oklahoma City than the September 11 2001 attacks.
He said the suspect appeared to have acted alone and “it seems like that this is not linked to any international terrorist organisations at all”. …..”

MoggyC it’s a dream but who knows I may manage to close in on Captain Slow’s speed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk1t6S737Cs
MoggyC it’s a dream (my wish list) but who knows I may manage to close in on Captain Slow’s speed of 407 kmph.
I have to my credit safely managing the world’s fastest supercomputers so why not the Veyron?
I am one of the few guys who has done the Millbrook banked circuit – unlimited lane (extreme outer) in an Audi 8 (5 km on the clock since new), hands off steering all round (no drift at all) and the speedo needle was just short of max with revs safe. The music on the CD – Eagles “Take it to the Limit” which I did.:D
Marshall with a wry smile on his face had to ask me to take a 10 min ‘time out’ break as I should have apparently cleared use of the banked unlimited outer lane beforehand as it’s usually reserved for professional rally and race drivers.
I’d love to do the same with the Audi 1 Concept, and Audi R8 – take them to the limit at Millbrook.
Thanks for the Audi 1 vid
