I am really interested by the fact that some people are so negative to this aircraft. Its not claiming to be anything other than a replica and its a fine one at that so I really feel don’t knock it.

If they can control that ground loop issue I honestly think it will be a pleasure to see fly.

If they started off with a real one or If they were claiming it a full scale exact replica then you could argue a bit of critism would not be out of place(but think of the spare wood you would have :D) however nobody is claiming it is anything but a scale replica and at that it does a damn fine job I think.

He was a truly talented comedy writer and from what I can tell a very unassuming man.
He certainly understood people and could write characters that you felt you could bond with, Not many achieve that now.

Firstly I have to say a huge well done to the team behind this replica,Which looks elegant charming with bags of character all the things the real thing has.
Yes OK its not full scale and yes it does not have the same engines etc, But surely that does not take away from what is a lovely aircraft in its own right.
If it was to the exact specifications with merlin engines etc, it would be great, However in my mind its more a tribute to the Mosquito than a full representation of the type, Much like all these tribute bands around these days it does not look exactly right but it does bring fond memories.

    Enjoy it guys.

Sad loss indeed, She very much created a sci-fi icon for old and young alike.
Its great that a new generation got to know here too through “The Sarah Jane Adventures” and I am feeling for the kids who loved that show as much as her family.

The first thing I would say is marriage does not stop a person straying if they wish to, and as far as I am concerned mean that you really think anymore or less of your partner.

A couple hould have a mutual respect for each other whether they are wearing a ring and holding a piece of paper on not. A marriage or any long term partnership has to be based on love, respect, compromise and understanding. All those ingredients can be there or not and the ring of gold won’t bring them or take them away in my opinion.

I have been married almost 6 years and in that time we been through thick and thin and still stayed together, we p1ssed each other off from time to time but stayed strong, But thats love not marriage.

I would say to anyone marry if it feels right for you both and for love, But not for peer pressure etc.

As a child it always amused me in deepest darkest Kent there is a sign in the road saying Ham on direction and Sandwich the other.

    Then there is
    Pratt’s Bottom
    Locks Bottom
which I believe is something to do with land owners land ended.

    Then theres Pease Pottage.
