Sadly money has ruined most sports now, F1 does to me feel like a sport that has had its heyday and now is desperate to change into something that its not. Sadly this alienates the fans who have been with it for many years.
It also lacks the punch it used to have, yes Hamilton, Button,Vittel etc are good drivers. But they are not out and out racers like Schumacher and Senna were, I was not a fan of either of them Prefering Mansell and Hill(I’m British) but as racers nobody else has come to close to them in my opinion and you knew something could always happen with them, In many ways they were the panto baddies and the true legends wrapped into one.
F1 for me needs to become a sport about out and out racing again where chances are taken by the drivers more and the excitement it there, but not at cost of safety.

I do use Facebook and have found it great for keeping contacting friends scattered across the world and old school friends etc. I don’t randomly add people either as there are some people in the world I certainly do not want to know.
I also use my Facebook account to share my hobbies such as photography with friends and I do not generally post photos much elsewhere online.
I understand the logic of Twitter in some cases news etc and although I have not joined it I have looked at the London Fire Brigade feed and Croydon one recently. I just find the constant updating people on mediocre and uninteresting information there a bit much.

I would also so its both sides fault, But I feel we have become so wrapped up in the “never never” and keep borrowing culture that in itself it meant nothing to be in debt.
There was no logic in banks lending people more money than they could ever pay back and for that I blame the banks, after all they should of been more responsible. However I blame us the public for lapping up every loan, credit card and store card available without thinking how the hell I pay it back.
Maybe if the banks had been better regulated this would not of happened, But then that does not leave us the public blame free.
It would be nice to think we will get back to a culture where you only spend what you have and manage debts within our means ie only have a morgage or bussiness loan etc not anything else. trouble is the genie is out of the bottle and it don’t want to go back.

She was a true Hollywood legend and one of the greats for sure.
She had been ill for a long time now though so maybe its a blessed relief for her.
RIP Liz

Thats great news Steve.
Don’t dump them surely maybe if nobody here wants them a small museum might.
Good idea, I was sent this one a while back looking for other clean ones now.
George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and George Bush are in a plane.
The pilot says that the passengers must lighten their load. so the three presidents decide to drop one item
George Washington drops a quarter
Abe Lincoln drops a penny
George Bush drops a grenade
When the presidents land, they find someone holding their head and cursing.
George Washington asks the man what’s wrong.
“i was walking down the street when a quarter falls from the sky and hits my head!”
So the presidents continue down the road and find someone hopping on one foot, holding the other, cursing. Abe Lincoln asks “What happened?”
“i was standing on my porch barefoot when a penny falls from the sky and hits it!”
The presidents continue once more and find a young boy laughing hysterically.
George Bush asks “What’s so funny?”
The boy replies “i farted and my house exploded!!!”
