Very nice selection. That Fairey Firefly looks good, although of the few that a airworthy worldwide its probably one of the least talked about or photographed warbirds around :(.

I wouldn’t say a first. I’m sure i’ve seen it before at Duxford, evoking i’m sure memories for some of when the NF variant was based here.

Thats got to be a highlight of the airshow for me :).

Are there any plans to keep one of the RAAF F-111’s in running/taxiable condition whilst they are still in such good condition?

I am fortunate enough to see / hear this rare bird virtually everytime she flies, and yes i have always thought that each time could be the last.

And i fear at that price she won’t be on these shores much longer, so as Adlertag says enjoy her while you can.
