Don’t happen to have any photos do you? Mmmm i like my Austers
Build a T2 Hangar and some RAF Buildings and you’re on :p a few nice WW2 RAF ground vehicles would be nice as well (for some reason these are one of my favourite exhibits in aviation museums)
Mmmmm beautiful! Love the TSR 2
Now that would be nice, but where to put it? My choice would be East Kirby, because of the authentic setting, and also Brooklands and Hendon already have a Wellington.
Very nice, love the Sunderland shot
I’ll join up, onto it right away

Wow that Hurricane sure is coming along well! Has the Fury been completed yet? Would be nice if Brooklands had a proper, well lit hangar so you could appreciate the beautiful aircraft properly, especially the Valetta and Fury. Aren’t there plans for this?
Ahah thought that might have been it, definitely had something DH about it.
Very nice, must go there again sometime! Is there one side of the Wellington without the fabric cut away? Love the car collection there as well, two of my favourite things at one place, vintage race cars and old aircraft!
My first was in an RAF Grob Vigilant motor glider, in 2002 or 2003 (most probably 2003). I’ve never flown in an aircraft that doesn’t have RAF markings, the only other ones ive flown in are two other Vigilants, two Grob Tutors and two Bae Nimrod MR.2’s (great fun!)
Wat tale is that? I think you should share it 😉
Cheers for clearing that up, i saw a photo of a preserved one with the sand filter and wondered what it was. Did the Whirlwinds end up in any sticky situations, for example being shot at like something out of a Vietnam War movie?
Cheers, by the way does anyone know why some Whirlwind Har.10’s have amore knobbly nose than others? For example the two partly painted dayglo orange on the above pics have it, whereas the 3rd pic doesn’t, i’ve only seen Whirlwinds in real life like the Whirlwind on the 3rd photo.
That Soviet one looks interesting, ever properly used? Would have been great for transporting troops and light vehicles into the battlefield
