Looking good, I know quite a few of the B5 Bomber Boys and have worked with them in the past at living history events, doesn’t get any better than them

Pretty impressive aircraft eh! It was new to me when I came across the tyre at Kensington too. Fairly attractive in a way, too

Too true – there was an accident down in Australia earlier this year where a man was seriously injured by an Auster propeller, believe he’s on the road to recovery now but the prospects were looking grim at the time

Went to see Quantam last night.

Excellent movie, Bond as it should be, though I might take issue with the speed of some of the editing at moments of excitement.

Anyone spot the scriptwiters’ blunder in the airport scene?

Eager for the next one. The franchise is well and truly refreshed.

Golf – Zero (instead of Oscar) Charlie for the bizjet?

Saw it yesterday too, fantastic film, the opening scene was just brilliant! Good flying action too

I hear metal prices are high at the minute, maybe they could weigh in the statue of five french fries outside Milestones to pay for it :diablo:

Quote: On the downside, completed some coursework last night about low cost carrier safety, and this has screwed up my statistics!

Aviation should not be your subject with such crass statements.
The pilots did a magnificant job and saved many lives after hitting what seems to be a huge flock of birds.Double engine ingestion and what appears to be an aborted go-around. The hard landing resulting in landing gear damage. The pilots must have been of the highest calibre to make such a split second decision.
What has this to do with low cost?Maybe you will become a journo.

What? I wasn’t making a ‘crass statement’, I was just saying it messed up my statistics because it increased the amount of incidents involving Ryanair, even though it wasn’t through any fault of theirs. Well done for reading into something that wasn’t even there.

Oh, and become a ‘journo’? Already am one!

    Good to hear no fatalities.

Good news, especially as it’s planned to refurbish the Battle of Britain hall. Maybe the Battle will end up in the spot vacated by the Defiant?

Oh I dunno… there’s always the crew of the Vickers Valentia in Iraq that rolled the bombs out of the door onto enemy troops before
