If he restarted it the wrong way, the camera ship pilot would have had trouble keeping him in shot. 🙂
    mmitch.

No no no! The camera ship is a harrier.

I have been a good boy this year, and so I would like one of these in my stocking.

    Yours

Daren (who has been a very, very good boy! :D)

Keep on trying Daz. Maybe one day santa will manage to put one in your stocking! :p

There you are jagdtiger. I know that you might have some more pics of this stunning fighter. The Dora is still the most beautifull FW fighter in my opinion. I can’t wait to see what Mr. Lacey is going to do with his machine within the next few years in the UK.

There might be some guys here who can apriciate a low back spit. I like both variants. So don’t worry Daz. 😉

Good point there Janie. Adventure starts there. It could very well be a stunt because the plane is flying at a ‘safe’ altitude to do such a crazy thing. No parachute though. The man must be a real daredevil! :diablo:

I think its great that a town pays tribute in such a way. The choise of the paint sheme and Spitfire variant must be forgiven. Certainly when it’s intended for all the men who served in Spitfire units.

It is a full sized fibreglass Spitfire replica, mounted on a pole in the centre of the park on Memorial Drive. It looks fantastic. Of course I didn’t have a camera on me, but I’ll photograph it soon, I promise.

You made me curious and I look forward to that image Dave.

Nice Belgian Air force Buffalo there Stormbird. The BAF ordered the type before the war, but they never reached Belgium in time to take part in the war. There where 2 BAF Buffalo’s which reached France before Belgium surendered to the german forces on may 1940.

That was the thing I wanted. Thanks Starfire. You don’t need to raise that model from storage. This selection wil do the job. Thanks a lot! 😀

Revell = Hasegawa. My LK-? is labelled Revell. 🙂

Oops, I didn’t know these where the same. 😮

    Hey starfire,

Could you post a pic of the painting instructions from this kit and from the bottom of the wings of your model. That would be great! Did you paint a grey-green sheme?

    Thanks,

    J.V.

That is the one guys! 🙂

Did this plane have any markings at the bottom of it’s wings?
This colourslide shows a grey-green sheme, But the model in the link from Daz (and some things I got here with me) shows a more blue-green sheme. Which one is correct? I think the grey-green is correct. Can anyone confirm this.

    Thanks,
    J.V.
