A front panel and very nice indeed! Did it come with the spade grip too? The stopwatch holder is a nice touch. Jealous! I’ve nearly finished a back seat AT-6 panel.
Great images, thanks for posting.
Very nice Darrell, The top logo is Junkers so you have a proper one! The same logo appears in a triangle on Ju88 werk number labels, and this helmet: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WW2-German-Junkers-Factory-Helmet-Stencil-Template-M34-M35-M40-M42-WWII-Security-/131074839560
That Sabreliner yoke is very well buttoned for a civil craft, or is a military one? Lovely job anyway. Your mantelpiece looks a treat in the background too Nick!
Stuart, there’s a C123 yoke in the for sale section here, but far from cheap. http://www.oncealoft.com/ A lovely site to browse.
The last drawing of the desk has it completely. A very good spot Brian! A big lump of a very unusual aircraft.
I’ve looked at that piece a few times, I think the vendor took it Stonleigh militaria fair as well. The fuel line diagram looks right but the holes don’t. The whole scale of the panel in the contemporary photo looks much bigger. The labels are huge compared to the crew member. I was thinking Arado 234 but it isn’t. A difficult one to research!
That looks like the perfect item for an aerojumble. Ebay postage might be a bit steep!
This Mirage panel display has just come up in France, a very nice item… http://www.comptoir-aviation.com/
I had to resort to wikipedia to see what a QH-50D looked like. Interesting but ugly! How long before it’s assembled and on view?
Yes to bomb door bits. See post 5!
There were some nice but pricey items, Javelin and Sea Vixen grips at £300 each! and a pair of very nice late Harrier GR3 sticks for a bit more. One forumite walked away happy with a bare Shack yoke and a Gannet grip but is wasn’t me. No Beaufort brake levers unfortunately. Attendance was thinner than Shoreham but hopefully will pick up in April.
He’s also selling some Battle of ‘Briton’ Ju88 armour, dated 1942.

Nice panel! A4s have been around for so long there must be many many different panels. I had a gunsight control panel from an Israeli A4 which had settings for Migs, F4s and variety of others. Never knew what they’d be up against!
The flare has a manufacture date of 1940 and a use before ’43. The bits look mouldy enough for a burned out Heinkel but, as always, the only guarantee is to find them yourself, licence in hand. Yes, just read your post properly!
The blade looks Curtiss, with bearings and pitch change gear at the base. What are the sizes, length of blade, width etc? From a crash? It looks familiar!
The grip is piston Provost.
