couldnt get to close as just after i took this the airfield security came along in their landrover. Yes i was surprised to. If you look to the left you can see a nose cone sitting up on it end.
For £5 a car wasnt it a good day?
Pete
there was about 10 cars on the top of the hill (the one that looks down on the airfield). I got there approx 10.30 and it didnt get any more crowded. I cant coment on the rest of the viewing spots as i did not move till approx 14.00hrs when most people had gone.
I stood in the same position 13 years ago to watch the Victors as well, it doesnt seem that long ago! I then went to Elvington to watch the Victor land there as well!!

the PR9 had just come back from Afginistan and i believe the RAF had painted them a light grey colour (as seen in Aircraft Illustrated). However when you got up close it looked as if it was a water based soloution as lots of it was coming off and leaving the hemp colour below.
Ive just been to Marham today (posted a few pics on the Historic forum) and from a distance could not see any grey left.
What are you useing to edit/crop/touch the photos? the camera or photo shop? and how long are you spending on them in total as ive got to admit im not happy with mine.
